First Activist Committee Meeting!

Want to get out there and make some noise? Then join Pride Alliance’s Activist Committee! We plan, organize, and attend all sorts of events from the upcoming National Equality March in Washington, D.C. to letter writing campaigns. No matter what your passion is, if you want to get out there and do something about it then this is the committee for you. We have lots of ideas for the upcoming semester, including a demonstration against Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell and a candlelight walk in honor of members of the GLBT community who have lost their lives to hate crime.

What are your ideas? Share them with us at our first meeting! It’s this Thursday (the 24th) at 7:30 p.m.  in Putt G43.

Bloomsburg Conference 2009 is Here!

We are still accepting deposits for the Bloomsburg Conference!

$25 Deposit due by Friday, Sept 18th. Please deliver to the office in an envelope with your name, the conference, your email and cell phone number, and of course, the $25 deposit. If you have a car or are willing to drive, please mark that down also.

We will be leaving after classes on Friday Oct 2nd from the HUB Circle at 3pm and returning by Sunday  5:30 pm on Oct 4th.

IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO BE THERE THE WHOLE TIME… you are not automatically disqualified. Please contact Sarah with details of what you can make, when you are available to leave and when you will return to IUP.

If you have not yet received a packet of information from Sarah, please see her during her office hours posted on the google calendar THIS WEEK. Everyone will be getting $10 back from their deposit Friday, Oct 2nd.
